Marcie Hahn-Knoff was re-introduced to hula hooping by an eccentric community of hoop loving mountain sprites and snow worshippers in Utah. She was immediately hooked. Marcie quickly grew tired of cheap store-bought hula hoops that broke after several days of heavy use and decided to start making her own. She has been making hula hoops since 2003, specializing in quick clip design breakdown hoops which can be easily packed and/or strapped to boats and backpacks for hooping across the globe. She cuts each hoop design by hand in the Gallatin Valley of Montana, each as individual as the people who own them. When not manufacturing hoops, she can be found exploring the mountains of the west by ski, bike, kayak, climbing shoe and trail.
You can learn more about hoops and hooping on Marcie's facebook page.
