Thanks so much for visiting our website. tart's storefront closed on March 25th, 2016. It has been a truly incredible 9 years. I have met wonderful people and worked with a slew of gifted tartists. It has been a privilege to be a part of the anniversaries, birthdays and other special occasions celebrated by you, our customers. I've watched relationships begin and evolve, and families form and grow. You're the reason we've been able to survive and thrive in a tough economy. It's bittersweet, but time for tart to continue to evolve.
I will be keeping tart's brand and website and using it in my next venture, which (among a myriad of things) will be working on marketing and strategy with other small businesses. I will be working with the spunky and delicious Nova Cafe and continuing to curate the art there - stay tuned for a new show there in May! I'm very excited to continue to work with great people in this community, helping their businesses thrive. Alison will be taking a well earned vacation, and then heading into as yet undetermined new adventures. Whomever she works with next will be extremely lucky, as I have been for the last 4+ years.
A new dynamic duo will be moving into tart's space in the Emerson, opening in early April. Their names are Mariah Palmer and Jen Tapp, and together they will be creating a new shop called Wilder Goods. They will be working with some of the old tartists, as well as bringing in their own work, new artists, and clothing. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what loveliness they create. The other tartists are finding new homes around town, and we'll be updating the tartist page with their new venues as we have the information.
Thanks again for your support over the last 9 years - I couldn't have done it without you.
