Molly Stratton was born and raised in Bozeman, where she operates Molly Stratton Design, a multi-disciplinary design firm whose portfolio includes projects in packaging, accessories, furniture,and lighting design in addition to graphic design. She earned a degree in fine art from Colby College in Maine, and spent five months studying art and culture in Kenya before returning to Montana to serve two years as Executive Director of the non-profit Danforth Gallery in Livingston. When she is not working on her latest design project or renovating her 1931 Bozeman bungalow, she can be found patterning and sewing for Poppy, her collection of handcrafted purses and cosmetic bags.  Each bag is unique assembly of fabrics and trims collected on adventures exploring the world and the World Wide Web.  All the bags are 100% cotton and hand washable.
