It seems like I’ve always known how to knit. I remember making knitwear for my Barbie dolls, so I guess I learned very young. The women in my family all practiced a craft; my Mom sewed, my Aunt was the knitter, and my Granny did everything; crochet, knit and sew.

Color is my motivation. Creating unexpected colors with natural dyes provides me with unlimited inspiration. The textures of knit and crochet stitches combined with nature inspired colors allow me to create one-of-a-kind accessories from simple skeins of yarn.

I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and traveled west to work in Yellowstone National Park during college. Bozeman has been my home for over 25 years now, with my engineer husband and teenage son. I studied art, fiber and fabric in college, but ended up with a very practical degree in Accounting. Luckily, numbers are necessary in knitting so it all worked out in the end.
