Angie Oakins is an artist who finds beauty and inspiration in all aspects of life, particularly Nature. Her goal is to combine the form and functions of her natural muse with her experiences to create wearable art that inspires and pleases others. She incorporates iconic imagery in her work through metal etching in the hopes of reminding others of their feelings of awe and appreciation of the natural world. In her ten years of manipulating silver her art has evolved and transformed. She will continue striving for creations that are both elegant and enhancing, just as her muse would dictate, and hopes to fashion pieces that please and enthuse others.

Angie has lived and traveled throughout the country and currently resides Missoula’s Rattlesnake Valley with her elderly dog, a cat with attitude, and a man that enjoys her sense of adventure. Angie lives for sunny days on the river, deep powder, good friends, community, and the continued opportunity to deepen her yoga practice. As a co-founder of the Missoula MadeFair she promises to continue bringing artists and musicians together in ways the foster community and support the local economy.
