I was born in Colorado and I have spent most of my life somewhere in the Rocky Mountains, with some time on each coast, pursuing careers ranging from Paleontology to Pastry. I moved to Bozeman almost 20 years ago, not intending to stay long, until I met my future husband on a chairlift at Bridger Bowl and decided to stay. We started a family and babies rapidly grew into kids and now I get to spend my time chasing them all on skis in the winter and on bikes in the summer. This enterprise was born when our beloved dog lost a leg and I suddenly had a lot of spare time at home while nursing her back to health and a lot of beads at my disposal. With a background in knitting and a love of beads and gems, the combination with crochet came easily. I started making these necklaces with an active lifestyle in mind so they are (almost) indestructible. I want women to be able to wear my jewelry while skiing, biking, climbing, kayaking or wherever adventure calls.
