When a rogue plant amongst a crop erupts from the earth, it wears an emblem of its own.   RogueBeet is the incarnation of Jessica LaRubbio.  Originally nurtured from her endeavors with wooden jewelry, her style has evolved into incorporating semi-precious stones with woven  and oxidized metals.  Her influences derived from fixtures of her travel experiences:  ornately carved doors in tiny villas , steady and simplistic textiles,  the dimensional contrast between volcanic rock and waves that swirl them.  Her elemental style explores the relationships between various colors and textures.  She transforms these natural elements into terrene pieces, both raw and refined.
Jessica currently resides in Missoula, Montana with her husband Neil and her red-heeler, Winsten Dan.
