Book Making Classes

Learn to create handcrafted books in two classes with local artist April Marie Hale.  Participants may attend one or both classes. 

Basic Bookbinding from 10am to noon will teach several methods of binding simple books, using paper, needle and thread. 

Origami Books from 1-3pm will teach several variations of elaborate three dimensional origami books (perfect for one of a kind valentine cards.) 

All materials and tools required will be included, but participants may bring special papers, photos and cards to include in their books.

Class fees:   $25 per session or  $45 for both.  Materials fee: Basic Bookbinding $17, Origami Books $12, $22 for both. 

Ages 9 and over welcome, children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a participating adult.  Due to the small size of this class, pre-registration and payment is required.
